Ridley & Hall, a Yorkshire-based national firm of award-winning solicitors, had a business plan in 2018 to achieve growth. This plan was twofold; to grow organically, and through mergers with other like-minded law firms that fit the ethos of delivering high quality legal advice for their clients.
At the time, this growth plan was held back by a lack of internal IT resource. There was also the risk of outgrowing the incumbent IT supplier at the time due to the growth of the practice, increased complexity of IT and technology opportunities.
Ridley & Hall recognised its need for objective advice and a trusted partnership with a major supplier capable of scaling to its demands. This was essential to support the growth of the practice by 2018, and future growth objectives.
Having gone to market with its requirements, Ridley & Hall decided to use PAV’s Support solution. With this comes a fully managed support service specifically tailored for law firms. The service includes IT support and remote monitoring for a full onsite and remote service to keep infrastructure and devices running smoothly for the team.
PAV also provide strategic IT guidance to ensure Ridley & Hall capitalise on the latest technology developments, as well as building its IT in such a way to support decision making and improve practice performance efficiency.
Through its partnership with PAV and P2 and ongoing investment in technology, Ridley & Hall been executing its growth plan, while in the process growing from 60 to 115 staff and adding three additional branch offices in the past three years.
Alongside this growth, the firm has satisfied the IT compliance standards for its Lexcel and Cyber Essentials accreditations. It has also delivered flexible IT services to support its solicitors and administrative staff ready for the next phase of its development plan.
