Who We Are...

Our greatest assets are our people. The fact that five of PAV's original seven employees are still with us twenty years after we founded the company is a source of great pride. It serves to underline our belief in the value of highly motivated and directed teamwork. All of our staff are technically qualified for their roles and many of them are also experienced in business processes - particularly those which benefit from our expertise. They work collaboratively with our clients to create partnerships that deliver, appropriate, timely and cost-effective solutions.



Mike Borissow - Managing Director

Mike Borissow is the driving force behind the company's continued growth and its long held desire to become the leading supplier of computer related services in the South of England. Mike founded PAV i.t. services plc with Paul Jenkins in 1988 and has himself been involved in the IT Industry since 1984. Before founding PAV he was General Manager of Resource Computing, a systems house specialising in the supply of ICL minicomputers to major corporate clients.


 



Paul Jenkins - Director

Paul Jenkins has executive responsibility for developing new business – as PAV seek to build relationships with clients who understand the growing importance of data management and IT security to the success of their own business & IT strategies. Like all his fellow directors Paul has had a long experience within the IT industry, originally joining Micro City Services in Norwich in 1978. Prior to founding PAV i.t. services with Mike Borissow, Paul was Manager of Major Accounts with Minatour Data Systems, part of the ADS OA Group, and Sales Manager at Vergecourt Ltd, Micro City Services and Resource Computers.

Prior to his involvement in the IT Industry – Paul held a number of management roles at Tarmac & Mowlem in the construction industry and was a council member of the Institute of Asphalt Technology.

 



Trevor Mould - Sales & Marketing Director

Trevor was part of the original team who joined PAV i.t. services plc in 1988 and he was made a full Board Director in 1995. Originally joining the IT Industry in 1983, Trevor, like his colleagues has a wealth of experience in the IT industry. Trevor now has executive responsibility for the sales and marketing team and also looks after a number of PAV’s major clients. Prior to taking on the role of Sales & Marketing Director, Trevor was previously PAV's Technical Director with overall responsibility for the network engineers, service desk and cabling teams.

Prior to joining PAV i.t. services, Trevor held a number of technical posts with Resource Computer Systems Ltd, Crayfield Computer Consultants and Holt Saunders Ltd.

 



Jason Fry - Technical Director

As technical director, Jason has been responsible for the overall technical direction of the company and the development of its managed services. Joining the IT industry in 1988, Jason was responsible for the design and set-up of the PAVNET Internet Service and more recently for building the technical teams around PAVmanage, PAVsecure & PAVdata that are all key areas in PAV’s future growth.

Prior to joining PAV, Jason was Senior Network Engineer with Wealden District Council.

 



Nick Knight - Operations Director

Nick Knight, as Operations Director is a key member of the PAV i.t. services management team. He provides day to day operational and logistical support for ongoing projects, support calls requiring site visits and for our cabling teams as well as internal administration duties ranging from managing the purchasing team to looking after the fleet of company vehicles.

Nick has been with PAV since 1990 having spent ten years running his own Photographic Transport and Assistance Company.

 



William Marsden - Support Services Manager, MCSE, CCNA

As one of the original seven people who set up the company, Bill has been with PAV i.t. services since the company started in 1989, though Bill himself started work in the IT Industry back in 1978. A Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), his primary role as Support Services Manager, is in managing the PAV Helpdesk and Managed Services teams along with all associated support services

Bill came from an Operations background before moving into Technical Support on mini-computers involving the installation and support of Accounts and Distribution Systems around the UK.

 



Mark Hill - Helpdesk Team Leader

Mark originally joined PAV as field engineer in 1991, but is now a key member of the support team responsible for leading the Helpdesk engineers and the co-ordination with Managed Services. His key roles include monitoring of Helpdesk incidents, escalation where necessary and customer co-ordination.

Mark is also one of PAV’s Commvault technical support specialists.
