Cisco Select Certification achieved

PAV continues to develop its Cisco technical and commercial skills by achieving the Cisco Select accreditation.

“The accreditation allows us to further develop our Cisco portfolio and to take further advantage of a variety of programmes such as Cisco backed financing options through Cisco Capital,” explains Max Thomas, Sales Director at PAV. “Cisco made some positive announcements in 2011 and our discussions with them indicate that 2012 promises even more. Many of the moves that Cisco are making align closely to our technical strategy – so this is a key step forward in broadening our Cisco engagement”.

VMware Academic Specialisation

PAV has achieved the VMware Academic Specialisation, recognising its commitment to the academic market. PAV has worked with academic institutions and organisations that qualify for academic pricing models for over 20 years. This specialisation recognises the level of expertise that enables PAV to deliver benefits unique to the academic market.

“This specialisation demonstrates our commitment to VMware and to the academic sector as a whole,” says Max Thomas, Sales Director at PAV. “We have strong links with the ‘not for profit’ and academic market which accounts for over 30% of our revenue year on year, so it was only natural for us to continue to invest in this important sector. VMware is a key business relationship for PAV and we already have a programme for further VMware competencies and specialisations in the new year.”

PAV is a VMware Enterprise Solution Partner and also holds the VMware Infrastructure Virtualisation competency.

DataCore Partnership announced

EMC VNX deployment

PAV continues to develop its EMC partnership with the latest deployment of a VNX 5300 SAN as part of global infrastructre project involving Cisco UCS.
