We are a medium sized company with a solid and hard earned reputation for the intelligent application of technical knowledge. Since the company was founded in 1988, the networks and infrastructure we've created have become central to the successful management of many leading businesses. They rely upon us to provide and maintain the invisible conduits along which their business information flows. It's a responsibility we don't take lightly.

Our success stems from a desire to get under the skin of a problem. We deliver solutions, not technology, appreciating that IT serves business not the other way round. That's why, in the design, integration and installation of networks our objectives are always to make life easier and more profitable for our customers. Whether we are providing wide or local area networks, industrial strength internet services, or advanced telephony, we use our acquired knowledge and experience to deliver cost-effective results.

 

 

 

Company History

PAV i.t. services plc was founded in 1988 to provide a high level of computer services to companies within the South East and we are particularly proud of the fact that of the seven original employees, five are still with the company.

We won contracts with seven 'blue chip' clients in our first eighteen months and our growth continued with the emphasis on the installation of both local & wide area networks together with associated communications equipment. During 1992 we formed a dedicated cabling division to complement and support our network installation team, and during 1995 the team were trained on fibre optic installations.

In March 1995 we moved to our current location at the King Business Centre in Sayers Common in order to create a dedicated training centre, service desk, workshop, demonstration area and conference room together with large open plan offices for our sales, marketing & Network Engineer support teams.

That same year, we became an Internet Services Provider (ISP) with the sole aim of providing a high quality, robust Internet/Intranet service to the business community. In addition we became a dedicated Computer Services partner and developed key skills in network integration, security and remote and home user networking, whilst embracing the use of the internet and associated technologies.

In recent years the pace of technology change has made the role of ‘IT Partner’ increasingly important as companies embrace the latest IT systems and services to improve their own business efficiency. Key amongst these in the SME sector, have been the ‘outsourcing’ of the specialist areas of security & network management that have provided the business drivers behind the development of our PAVmanage & PAVsecure portfolios.

In addition the ever increasing growth of data in corporate networks and the growing cost of its retention – has led to the development of our PAVdata division where we/PAV are able to offer services and solutions that can make a dramatic difference in this key area, ie. management of data growth & corporate compliance.

The move to Sayers Common has been extremely successful and has provided us with the room to grow. Whilst our central location within the South East Business Community has enabled us to further improve our response and service to a significantly larger client base, it is ultimately the quality of this service that we are rightly judged – which is why we are constantly trying to improve all we do, and how we do it.
